3. Roots of Life Coaching:

The foundations of coaching go back many centuries. Improving one’s life, what we would today call “personal development”, traces its roots to Greek society. The Greek philosopher, Socrates, summed it up with his famous quote, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”

4. Why Life Coaching is Important:

A life coach is someone who will listen fully, without judgment, provide unconditional acceptance, provide a larger vision, inspire creativity, expand possibilities and provide a full commitment to you, the client. Perhaps most importantly, life coaches provide a constant reminder that one’s life is a celebration.

  • What areas of your relationship could be upgraded/tweaked?
  • What could we work on now that would make the biggest difference in your personal relationships (partner, friend, family)?
  • What are you tolerating/putting up with?
  • What is stopping you from having the kind of relationship you dream of?
  • What do you want MORE of in your life? (make a list)
  • What do you want LESS of in your life? (make a list)
  • How could you make this goal more specific or measurable?
  • What would be the biggest impact from achieving your goal(s)?
  • For your life to be perfect, what would have to change?
  • What’s one change you could made in your relationships that would give you more peace?
